OMG,
Emotional overload happening in Allen, Texas!
I am up and showered already…making sure everything is packed…2 weeks ago, I was already with the other crew at the 3Day ATL Opening Ceremony site assisting walkers as they needed to print new credentials, sign forms, reunite with friends. I saw someone there that I had not seen over 11 years. Who new that would be the actual start of My 3 Day Journey?
Now I sit waiting the leave, waiting to experience all that is the 3 Day. I have wanted to do this since 2002; however life got in the way/happened. I took care of Momie, I lost weight, I worked, ever over worked, I got married, I had puppies, I taught school, I took time off.
Then, 10.5 months ago, I NeNe (she is my new knee) and I were introduced. She has been life changing. I have learned more about me since she has been around. I have learned my limits, when I can and cannot push them. I have learned how its okay to be okay.
But alas…this IS where I am supposed to be…

Hey Hi Hello,
In eight hours (Central time) I will start my 3 Day journey. I have had an awesome trip to Dallas…my cousin and I had the opportunity to catch up:) I am gonna try and sleep…not sure how I will succeed in that…electronics are charging…memory cards ready…clothes laid out.

35,000 Miles in the Air

Hey all, its me….
I am on a Southwest flight 35,000 in the air with WiFi access who knew? Seriously, I am having so many emotions right now I cant even comprehend how I feel…..listening to Metallica and Lyfe Jennings and Donnie McClurklin (now that is a mix).
